My heart aches at the loss of true, genuine, hard working, selfless man. I met Hector when I was about 9 years old as his granddaughter was one of my very first and still to this day, best friends. I'll never forget how much value he put on working hard and earning your own way with no expectation of handouts or anything in return. I'll never forget his love of eating his own tomatoes with some salt fresh from his garden. The countless rides to the mall, dances, and first jobs as a teenager. His heart had so much love for his family and those his family loved. He was honest, bold, loving, and one of a kind. I'll be having 2 beers at the local VFW in his honor. Rest Well Hector, thanks for the memories.

I’m so Sorry to hear of Hectors passing .. He was a great guy all around. I worked with him for a bit back in the 80’s and he taught me a few tricks back then. May he RIP. And my prayers and thoughts to his family ..
