Uxbridge- Pauline L. (Jacques) Picnia, 80, passed away unexpectedly on Thurs. Feb. 6, 2020 at UMass University Campus in Worcester surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by 3 children; Ronald Picnia and his wife Deb of Holland, MA, Apryl Picnia of Weymouth, and Jennifer Bonati and her husband John of Uxbridge, with whom she lived; 4 grandchildren, Ashlee Picnia of Holland, Nate DeLuca of Weymouth, and Jesse and Jason Bonati of Uxbridge; a sister, Marcelle Landry of Uxbridge, as well as her kitty companion, Laci. She was predeceased by her former husband, Ronald L. Picnia in 2014.

        Born in Milford on Jan. 27, 1940 she was the daughter of William R. and Loretta A. (Guertin) Jacques and grew up in Uxbridge, attending Our Lady of the Valley, and then Uxbridge High School where she graduated class of 1957. Primarily a homemaker, Pauline was a devoted mother and grandmother, who always embraced her children with positivity and open arms. She enjoyed trips to the beach, viewing lighthouses, listening to Queen and the Beatles, and shopping. She also loved tending to her flower gardens, and most of all, spending time with her beloved family. She sang on the choir at St. Mary’s Parish in Uxbridge, and was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge.

        Her Memorial Funeral Mass will be held in Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood St., Uxbridge on Sat. Feb. 29th at 11 AM. There are no calling hours. My deepest Condolences to the Picnia and Bonati family and can't forget her sister marcelle Landry. She is a great loss. She was the nicest person you would ever meet. I used to babysit her children when they were young and she holds a special place in my heart..And so does her family.

Our heartfelt condolences to you all! We are so thankful that we got to know Pauline and all her family. Her mom Loretta took good care of all the Barron family while we were growing up.
Pauline was a very caring, loving and compassionate daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Truly a blessing to all who knew her. We are so sorry for the loss of Pauline. May God bless you, comfort you and keep you in his loving care. Love, All The Barron family
