Ryan, I hope you understand that as parents we all do the best that we can each day given the challenges that we face in our lives. As you also know, I spent some time with Mary Jane and although I knew her life growing up was not ideal, she never, to me anyway, complained or blamed any difficulties on her past experiences. But our past does color our present. You know she loved you and that is what counts. And when all else is lost what remains is love. Hugs to you and your family.

Ryan,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Your mom was as you know, a longtime colleague. From our days or should I say nights working in the ER. To days working in the role of registration Manager vs Helpdesk Specialist we always kept a healthy level of respect. She was always so proud of you. She had told me that numerous times. May your good memories out way any of the not so good. Sending you hugs.

Ryan & Katie, Your mom was a wonderful neighbor to us. We so enjoyed her company. Her love for the Lord radiated from her heart. She blessed us and our grandchildren not only with her smile but with her little packages of nuts, books and puzzles. We will miss her. Let us know if we can help you with anything. We're right across the street. I'm sorry we missed the wake and funeral.
