Uxbridge- John A. “Jack” Milot, 71, of Mary Jane Ave. passed away on Sat. April 13, 2018 at the Odd Fellows Home in Worcester, after a battle with kidney disease.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Georgia A. (Capistran) Milot; a step-daughter Tracy Scorpio of Grafton; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers Paul R. Milot in Maine and Mark J. Milot of Mendon; and several nephews and nieces. He was brother of the late Judith Knox and Charles Milot. Born in Whitinsville, MA on Jan. 21, 1948 he was son of the late Joffre A. and Vivian G. (Departie) Milot and lived in Uxbridge most of his life. He had been a resident of the Odd Fellows Home the past 9 months.

     Jack was a skilled finish carpenter for Chuck LaFleur Carpentry, throughout the area. He worked over 20 years, retiring when he was 62. He was a Paramedic and Firefighter for the Town of Uxbridge and a high honors graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Milford. A U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflic, he served as a Sergeant. Good with his hands he enjoyed tinkering in his shop, woodworking, restoring old cars, and animals, especially his dog Duke. Always an outside type of man, he was also very artistic and liked to paint. He was a member of Valley Chapel.

     His Memorial Funeral Service will be held at Valley Chapel at a later date. There are no calling hours.
