We were so saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. We went to grade school together and I was in Cub Scouts at his Mom & Dad’s house and was in Boy Scouts with him and his Uncle Ed was the Scout master. Lots of great memories as you all know he was a great guy and a great friend. May the Lord ease you pain & suffering and take him into His arms and to a better place.
Rest In Peace my friend.

I grew up with the Yerka family as a child and have many fond memories of Michael skating on the ice in the winter and running through Fairwoods in the summer. He was always smiling and had a strong spirit about him. I learned recently of his illness and have been praying for him. My condolences to the family and especially to Sharon, Janie and Peter who I knew well in my younger days.
