Northbridge- Linda D. (Hoback) Blair, 75, of Sutton St. passed away peacefully at home on Thurs. Nov. 1, 2018 . Her husband Winford W. Blair died July 17, 2002.
     She is survived by 6 children; a son Lesley D. Blair of Northbridge; 5 daughters Teresa L. Demery of Northbridge,  Barbara L. Haase of Douglas, Dora Lee Blair of Whitinsville, Peggy J. Lambert and her husband Wayne of Nashua, NH, and Rebecca L. Blair of Whitinsville; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother Kenneth Davis in Wytheville, VA; a sister Shelvey Jean Shupe in Wytheville, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Born in Wytheville, VA on April 10, 1943 she was daughter of the late Clara Belle Davis and lived in the Whitinsville and Northbridge area more than 50 years.
     Linda worked the past 11 years at Wall-Mart in Northbridge. Previously she was employed at GE Timex Co. in Ashland, Tredegar Co. in Grafton, and Guilford of Maine Co. in Douglas. She was a graduate of Wytheville High School and enjoyed crossword puzzles, yard work, gardening, and animals. Family was most important to Linda, caring for and raising her family. She will be deeply missed.
     According to Linda’s wishes there are no calling hours or services at this time. Her family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. To leave a condolence message for the family please visit

To all my cousins
I am so sorry for your loss, please know that we are sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to all of you.
Some of my best memories are living on D street living next to Aunt Linda and all of you.
I wish I could be there for you all but know that you will all be in my thoughts and prays.
