Whitinsville- Sherri E. Levin, 54, of Arthur Dr. passed away on Sat. April 21, 2018 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sherri is survived by her domestic partner Victor Raymond, her mother Fern (Feis) Levin and the late Eugene Levin of  Wheeling IL, her 2 sisters, Randi Levin and her wife Sharon of Clancy, Montana, and Stacey Levin and her wife Julia of Crystal Lake, IL, and her “BFF,” Jeannie Weir of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Sherri was born in Chicago on June 17, 1963. A graduate of Wheeling, Illinois High School, Class of 1981, she went on to earn a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter certification, a Master of Science in Insurance Management from Boston University, and Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix. Sherri worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. for many years with a variety of increasing responsibilities. She has lived in Whitinsville for the past 10 years, previously living in Miami, FL for over 20 years.

Like her dad, she loved the beach and was a huge fan of ice cream – always with sprinkles! She also loved music of all kinds… “The lyrics and rhythm spoke to her.” “She had the biggest heart and kindest eyes” Her family wishes to thank Penny Brown, LCSW, Dr. Laura Lambert, Dr. Humberto Rossi, and all the staff and support teams at Dana Farber and Salmon Hospice for their outstanding and compassionate care. The family hopes that Sherri’s spirit is now with her beloved father, eating ice cream with sprinkles and cuddling with her dog Oreo.

Deepest sympathy to Sherri's family and loved ones. I had the great privilege of knowing her the past three years through her acupuncture treatments. She loved having her feet massaged, and we shared many beautiful moments. She had such a kind heart and a beautiful spirit. She is missed.
