Uxbridge- Ann M. (Greene) Adam, 87, passed away on Wed. Feb. 21 at home after being stricken ill. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, John Adam.
      She is also survived by 4 sons, William E. Blodgett Jr. of Coaldale, CO, David M. Blodgett and his wife Joan of Northbridge, Robert S. Blodgett and his wife Janice of Quincy and Joseph J. Blodgett and his wife Jeanette of Bradenton, FL, 3 step children, Jack Adam and his wife Sandy of Westfield, Donna Wooster and her husband David of Daphne, AL, and Nancy McAninch of Concord NC; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and many great- great grandchildren; a sister Marcia Holland and her husband Richard of Guilford, CT; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step son Ronald Adam and a sister Barbara Purcelle.
      Born in Hartford, CT on New Years Eve 1930 she was the daughter of Marion Greene and grew up in Uxbridge. She has lived in the Uxbridge area most of her life, and spent a few years in California as well as Virginia . Mrs. Adam worked for Verizon in Milford for 25 years as a line supervisor. She was an amazing homemaker, liked gardening, made frequent visits to the Rhode Island and CT Casino’s, enjoyed traveling to visit extended family in New Hampshire and Canada, and the challenge of the Sunday crossword puzzles. She hosted many foreign exchange students from South America, Europe and Asia over the years. She was a sweet woman and loved her family more than anything. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Love and condolences to all the family. I have fond memories of Meme and how she loved to have her family around her. My mother and I hope you are comforted by the thoughts and prayers of those who knew her. We especially send our love to Johnnie, may God bless him and bring him peace.
