Uxbridge- Jane E. (Ellis) Rielly, 71, passed away on Wed. Jan. 3, 2018 after a brief illness at Milford Regonal Hopspital. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John F. Rielly Jr.

She is also survived by 3 children, Michael S. Rielly of Uxbridge, Wendy E. LaFontain and her husband Mark of Uxbridge, and Robert E. Rielly of Oxford, 2 grandsons Adam and Connor Rielly also of Oxford, 5 siblings; Mary DeFlumere and her husband Nick of E. Natick, Corinna Regnier of Winthrop ME, Henry Ellis and his wife Sharon of Holliston, MA. Roberta Doucette and her husband Eric of Amherst, NH, and Marcia Ahearn and her husband Gary of Oxford, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jane was the daughter of Edwin H. and Corinna B. (Dion) Ellis and was born on Halloween of 1946. She was born and raised in Marlborough and lived there up until her marriage to John in 1968, when they moved to Uxbridge. A graduate of Marlborough High School Class of 1964, Jane worked as a PCA for numerous nursing homes in the Uxbridge/ Northbridge area for many years up until her retirement. She loved her husband, children, and grandsons and was a great and caring person. Very quiet and to herself, she enjoyed reading, watching TV, playing games on her phone, and knitting. When her children were small she would sew them outfits and costumes. She was very proud of her grandsons and loved watching them achieve in karate.

Her memorial service will be held from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge on Sat. Jan 20 at 10am. A calling hour will be held from 9-10am. To leave a condolence message for her family please visit: www.JackmanFuneralHomes.com

I’m so sorry about your mom. I had the pleasure of meeting her years ago when your nephews and my boys were in karate together.
