Uxbridge - Paul K. "Cookie" Drady, 74, a longtime Uxbridge and Douglas resident passed away on Fri. Nov. 10, 2017 after a period of declining health.

He is survived by his step-mother Lori J. Drady of Swansea, MA; 3 brothers George M. Drady Jr. of Tallahassee, FL, Wayne Drady of Little Compton, RI, and Kevin Drady of Tampa, FL; Cheryl Skowronski and her children with whom he lived, Matthew Poulin, Brittany Crowley, and Christopher Poulin all of Pascoag, RI; and all his friends and acquaintances at Alternatives and the community. He also leaves behind his cat Tulah, aka Tulip. He was brother of the late Marty Drady and Dennis Drady. Born in Medford, MA on Dec. 2, 1942 he was son of the late George and Laura (Casella) Drady.

Paul was a well known member of his community. Always full of life, he worked at the Career Center at Alternatives, BJ's Westboro, Friendly's Restaurant in Whitinsville, and Victory Supermarket in Uxbridge, where he retired from. He was currently involved with Alternatives' Senior Enrichment Program.

Paul was positive and celebrated life everyday. He loved his family and always spoke highly of them to friends as he walked about town. He loved vacations, birthdays, cook outs, parades, Foxwoods, parties and the Big E. He enjoyed music and painting. His family would like to thank Blackstone Valley Transportation and the Milford Dialysis Center for the care and love shown to Paul.

His memorial funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be held in Tancrell Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge Mon. Nov. 20, at 12 noon. Calling hours at the funeral home are Mon.
