Uxbridge- Jerald D. “Jerry” Tucker, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Thurs. Sept. 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by 3 children; Brandon Tucker and his fiancée Meaghan Caccavelli of Franklin, Lauren and her husband Peter Karas of Franklin, and Tracey Tucker, 3 grandchildren; Matthew, Isabella, and Kelsey, his longtime friend and caretaker Karen Tucker, as well as many other great friends. He was predeceased by a brother John Tucker Jr. of Ohio.

Born in Essex CT. on April 14, 1947, he was the son of John and Mary (Sadler) Tucker and grew up in Clinton, CT before moving to Milford in 1970. Jerry was a Boiler Technician for over 50 years, working for multiple companies including the company he owned and operated with his son Brandon for 11 years: Commercial Industrial Boiler Services, out of Medway. Jerry loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his friends, and also enjoyed going camping, fishing, waterskiing, and boating. He had a passion for BMW motorcycles, owning and trading many over the years.  

As to Jerry’s wishes he will be cremated. A Celebration of his life will take place at the Franklin Elks, 1077 Pond St., Franklin, MA on Sun. Oct. 1 from  12-5 pm. I'd like to send my heartfelt condolences to Jerry's family and friends. He was a great friend, a great dancing partner, during the school lessons with Mrs. Dauer in the grammar school gym, as well as a pal through high school.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
