Music by The Piano Brothers

Douglas-Paul J. Conn, 86, passed away Fri. June 23, 2017 at Umass Lake Ave after an accident. He is survived by 2 brothers; Robert Conn with whom he lived, and Richard Sadowski and his wife Kimberly of Jacksonville FL., many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, a nephew who was like a son to him; Andre R. Auger and his wife Elizabeth of Douglas, and many good friends especially Harold Buxton of Douglas. He was pre deceased by 3 siblings; John Conn, Elizabeth Auger, and Dorothy Gaudere.

Paul was the son of John and Irene (Meyer) Conn, and has lived in Douglas the past 60 years. He loved genealogy and researching his family history, learning new things, was a huge history buff. He was also a man of very strong faith, and even started the process of schooling to become a minister. He was a self-employed forester for the past 40 years, and it was his passion. You could find him every morning with his dear friend Bucky getting a coffee at the McDonalds in Webster where he swore they had the best coffee. Paul also served in the Army during the Korean war as an engineer. He was a great man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Following cremation, a Memorial service will be planned at a future date convenient to his family. To leave a condolence message for the family please visit: www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com
