Uxbridge – Frederick W. Thompson, 82 formerly of Calumet Ct. passed away on Thurs. March 9, 2017 at home.
    He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Ann Sullivan and her husband Mark of NH; 3 sons Frederick Thompson Jr. of E. Falmouth, Peter J. Thompson of Fall River and Michael S. White of N. Falmouth; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Eva O’Rourke of Uxbridge and Doris Marie Danis of N. Uxbridge; a brother George Thompson of Uxbridge and several nieces and nephews.  Born in Milford, MA on Dec. 23, 1934 he was the son of Frederick K. and Dorica (Lefrancois) Thompson and lived in Uxbridge most of his life.  
    He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School, Class of 1952 and worked as an excavator for many area construction companies until his retirement.  Fred served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of the Amvets Post 70 in Falmouth.  He enjoyed woodworking, crafting wood into beautiful pieces of furniture over the years.  In his later years, he enjoyed crossword puzzles and trips to the casino.

We moved to Calumet Ct. last yr. and saw Fred feed and watch the Birds, We also enjoyed them. Did not know him well but he always said Hi. So sorry for your loss.
