Whitinsville - Eleanor M. (Daige) Gonsorcik, 84, of the Linwood section of Whitinsville passed away with her loving husband of 63 years, John A. Gonsorcik, Sr. holding her hand on Sun. Dec. 18, 2016 at St. Camillus Health Ctr. after a decline in health.
     She is survived by her 2 children, John A. Gonsorcik, Jr. and his wife Chris of Webster and Judy Ann Kaske and her husband Steven of Whitinsville; 6 grandchildren, James Eric, Brian, and Nicole Gonsorcik of Webster, Joshua Kaske and his wife Kristen of Whitinsville, and Sarah Berard and her husband Derek of Webster; 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was sister of the late Florida Roy, Pearl Graveson, and George Daige, Jr.  Born in Mendon on Jan. 7, 1932 she was the daughter of George and Florida (Jacques) Daige and lived here all her life.
     Mrs. Gonsorcik worked in the cafeteria for the Northbridge Public School System many years retiring in 1998 due to illness.  She loved her family and enjoyed raising her children and spending time her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.  She was very crafty, enjoyed going to the polka dances with her husband, and treasured her cat.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Church.
     Her funeral will be held from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge on Sat. Dec. 31 with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood St., Linwood.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Uxbridge.  To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com

I am so sorry to hear about Ellie; wife, mother and noted Union Street mainstay. It is heartbreaking to know another longtime resident has left us. So many memories of the old days too numerous to list.
