Douglas – Kathryn G. (Manyak) Mayotte, 99, long time Douglas resident died Sat. Dec. 17, 2016 after an illness.
   She is survived by 5 siblings Ruth Manyak and Frances Manyak of Vero Beach, FL, Dennis Manyak and his spouse Marion of Hockessin, DE, Anthony Manyak and his spouse Mary Agnes of Middletown, DE, and John Manyak and his spouse Janet of Vero Beach, FL; brother-in-law John Koslak; and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Andrew E. "George" Manyak, Joseph A. "Red" Manyak, Dolores Graf, Elizabeth Bruno, Mary Faith Bylsma, Ann Marie Manyak, and Patricia K. Koslak. Born in Douglas on Jan. 8, 1917, she was the daughter of Joseph M. and Elizabeth M. (Mercak) Manyak, was raised in Douglas until moving to Florida at age 21.  
     Kathryn worked for the Dade County Blood Bank as a lab technician.  She had a passion for antiques and travelled all over the world for her collection.  She also enjoyed spending time with her large family and crocheting.    She will be sadly missed.  Services will be announced at a later date.  To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com
