Whitinsville-Alice M. (Henault) Dills, 83, previously of Calumet Ct. passed away at the Blaire House after a period of declining health.  She is survived by her husband of 55 years George D. Dills, 2 sons Donald D. Dills of Charlton and Paul B. Dills of Manchaug; 2 daughters Jane Ann Moschini of Whitinsville and Diane Marie Shotanus of Whitinsville; 8 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter Ariella Florence Pope; 2 brothers Lawrence Henault of Uxbridge and Leo Henault of ME; a sister Beverly Bergeron of Whitinsville; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by 2 sisters Sylvia Dione and Lillian Gardner.  Born in Northbridge, MA on April 20, 1933 she was the daughter of Joseph W. and Lydia (Beaudoin) Henault and grew up in Whitinsville before moving to Uxbridge in 2000.
     Alice worked as an LPN for St. Camillus Health Care in Whitinsville until her retirement at age 53.  She was a very caring person and devoted herself to her faith, her family, and her work as a nurse.  She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, and crochet making many dolls for her grandchildren over the years.  Alice had a “green thumb” and kept a beautiful flower and vegetable garden. A devout Catholic she was a member of St. Patrick’s Church.
     Her funeral will be held from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St. Whitinsville on Sat. Aug. 20 with a Mass at 12:00 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Fri.
