Northbridge – Dorothy L. (Lemoine) Mills, 93, previously of Riverdale St. died on Wed. May 18, 2016 at Beaumont Rehab. & Skilled Nursing Ctr. after a period of declining health.  Her husband of 62 years, Leonard “Lenny” H. Mills passed away in 2007.  She is survived by her 3 children; Joanne C. Bogie and her husband Kenneth, of Falmouth; Leonard H. Mills III and his wife Elaine (Pouliot) of Kissimmee, FL; and Ann Marie Decoteau and her husband Edward of Millbury; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Ruth A. Douville and 2 brothers George W. Lemoine, Jr. and Richard A. Lemoine.  Born in Worcester, MA on Jan. 18, 1923 she was the daughter of George W. and Alice (LeBlanc) Lemoine and lived in Northbridge all of her life.  Dorothy was a graduate of St. Peter’s Catholic School and Northbridge High School.  She also received her secretarial degree from the former Hill College in Woonsocket, RI.
Mrs. Mills worked as a secretary for many area companies.  In her later years she worked as a manager at the former Fair Dept. Store in Whitinsville.  She was a life long member of St. Peter’s Church.  Dorothy dedicated her time mostly to raising her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, and grandchildren.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in the yard as well as reading in her younger years.  
Her funeral will be held on Mon. May 23 from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St. Whitinsville with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 39 Church Ave., Northbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Sun.
