Douglas – Brion D. Chamberlain, Sr., 62, of Chestnut St. died Thurs. April 28, 2016 at UMass Hosp. after being stricken ill. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joan C. (Mellor) Chamberlain; his daughter Jaime L. Chamberlain and her fiance’ Calvin Haire of Douglas; a brother Daniel Chamberlain of ME; 3 grandchildren; Tyler Chamberlain, Aiden Conley, and Brionna Chamberlain; many friends, many nieces and nephews including Daniel Chamberlain of Douglas. He was predeceased by a son Brion D. Chamberlain, Jr. in 2006; a brother George Chamberlain and a sister Janet Aubin. Born in Woonsocket, RI on July 17, 1953 he was the son of the late Daniel and Florance (Henderson) Chamberlain and lived in Douglas the past 35 years.
Brion worked as a maintenance mechanic for Benjamin Moore in Milford for 20 years and for Foster Forbes in Milford for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and working on cars. Mr. Chamberlain was considered a Jack-of-all-trades and was available to help anyone in need. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Brion’s funeral service will be held in Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St., Douglas on Sat. May 7 at 3:30. Memorial calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Sat. May 7 from 2 – 4 p.m. To leave a message for the family, please visit http://www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com/

I didn't know Brion that long but for the past several years he was always there for us to help out with plowing, He was a great guy and will be missed by all who new him I'm sure, I'm so sorry for the loss of such a young man, way to soon!
