Whitinsville- Anita A. (Langlois) SanSouci, 96, formerly of Whitinsville and Sutton died Sat. Feb. 13, 2016 after an illness. Her husband of 70 years Wilfred A. SanSouci died April 28, 2014.
She is survived by her 4 children Ronald J. and his wife Mary SanSouci of Sutton, Robert W. SanSouci of Grafton, Ann Marie Bates and her husband Daniel of Upton, and Richard P. and his wife Catherine SanSouci of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren Daniel and Melissa; 3 great-grandchildren Daniel, Robert, and Lexi; and several nephews and nieces. Born in Whitinsville, MA on Oct. 30, 1919 she was the daughter of Alfred and Aglae (Lafleurey) Langlois and lived most of her life in Whitinsville.
Mrs. SanSouci was primarily a homemaker, caring for her family over the years. She worked several years at Whitin Machine Works and was a skilled seamstress. She enjoyed crafts, making stained glass, and gardening. A lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Church, she taught CCD in her youth. Her family would like to thank the staff at St. Camillus, especially Minion Way, for the excellent care shown to Anita.
Her funeral will be held on Wed. Feb. 17 with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery. There are no calling hours.
