Diana, Dominic, and Rachael - Words can't begin to express the sorrow in my heart caused by Michael's passing. He was such a wonderful part of our family, as are each one of you. Please know you are in all of my thoughts and prayers, and that you are not alone as you go through this very difficult journey.

Much love,
Aunt Judy

I am deeply saddened by your loss. Mike was a friend and mentor to me while I was assigned to work at the Medical Center. I was honored when he approached me and asked for my assistance in establishing an OJT program for new batch of correctional officers. I recall one instance when I referred to one of these new officers as a "New Cock." The young man was thought I was callous and putting him down. He complained to Capt. Bollinger about it who in turn approached Mike to talk to me about the reference. When I told Mike that all new officers working in the Florida state prison systems were called New Cocks, Mike laughed and laughed. He will be missed, but we will see him again.
Very Respectfully,
