Northbridge-Russell J. Dusablon, 74, of Church Ave. died Wed. Feb. 12 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He is survived by his brother Edward Dusablon of Montana; 2 sisters Jeanne Metcalf and her husband Leonard of Uxbridge and Marie Blair and her husband Ernie of Worcester and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Born in Northbridge, MA on Oct. 23, 1939 he was the son of Russell C. and Irene (Pare) Dusablon and lived in Northbridge since 1998.  Previously he had lived in Cape Cod for 15 years.  He worked for Gems Publishing USA Inc. as a seminar coordinator retiring in 2008.  Russ was fortunate enough to have travelled the world including places like Africa, Japan, S. American countries, and Hawaii where he lived for 5 years.  He enjoyed astrology and studied it for 8 years.  He served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of St. Peter’s Church Northbridge and also belonged to the choir as a cantor.  He said the Mass at Beaumont Nursing and Rehab. Ctr. monthly.  He enjoyed his beloved dog “Sophie” and enjoyed being with his close friends and family.

His memorial Mass will be held on Fri., March 14 at 10 a.m. in  St. Peter’s Church, 39 Church Ave., Northbridge.  Committal will follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com
