Northbridge- Richard E. Gosselin, 66, of Worcester, formerly of Northbridge passed away on Sat. Nov. 21 after a long illness at UMass Hospital.  He is survived by his brother Donald E. Gosselin of Northbridge; 3 sisters Ann M. Covery of W. Springfield, Doris Chickering Moore of San Antonio, TX, and Jane T. Imholt of McLean, VA; and many nieces and nephews.  Born in Northbridge on Jan. 1, 1949 he was the son of the late Joseph Henry and Florence (Gauthier) Gosselin and lived in Northbridge all of his life.  
     He was a graduate of Northbridge High School Class of 1967 and Quinsigamond Community College.  He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was a member of St. Peters church.  Richard worked as a lifeguard at the Whitin Community Center and loved horseback riding and sports.
     His funeral will be held on Tues. Dec. 1 from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 1 Cross St, Northbridge.  Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Mon.
