Whitinsville- Diane S. (Morvan) Rayner, 63, passed away on Mon. March 21 at Milford Hospital after a period of declining illness. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, George C. Rayner; 2 daughters Terri Winslow and her husband Jon of Whitinsville and Sara Leveille and her husband John of Whitinsville; 6 grandchildren, Lindzy and Kelsey Winslow; Abigail, Emma, Elye, and John Leveille all of Whitinsville; 4 brothers, William, Gary, Joe, and Kenneth Morvan; 4 sisters, Donna Beardsley, Gail Berte, Beverly Chaput, and Brenda Raiola, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Donald Morvan and 2 sisters Patricia Crane and Marcia Morvan. Born in Northbridge, MA on Aug. 11, 1952 she was the daughter of William and Florence (McQuade) Morvan and lived here all of her life.
Diane was a graduate of Northbridge High School, Class of 1970 and devoted her life to God and her family. A member of St. Patrick’s Church, she served as a Eucharistic minister, taught CCD for a number of years, and served on the bereavement committee. She was also a member of Living Hope Ministries in Whitinsville and attended their bible study. Diane’s greatest joy was spending time with and doting on her grandchildren. Diane was very compassionate and caring and will be deeply missed by all her knew her.
Her Memorial Mass will be held on Fri. April 1 at 4 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery. There are no calling hours.
