S.Grafton- Roger E. Lemoine, 85, of S. Grafton died Fri. Oct. 6, 2017 after a brief illness. His wife of 37 years Irene G. (Esteves) Lemoine died August 26, 2002.
    He is survived by a stepson Lawrence P. Lorusso of Clarksburg, MA; 2 step-grandchildren; a sister Loretta Hall of Dudley; an aunt Sister Bernadette Lemoine; nephews, nieces, cousins and good friends. He was brother of the late Agnes Manyak and Albert J. Lemoine Jr. Born in Grafton MA, on July 4, 1932, he was the son of Albert J. Sr. and Irene M. (Beauchene) Lemoine and lived in S. Grafton all his life.
    Mr. Lemoine was a union carpenter throughout the area for many years.  A US Army veteran of the Korean conflict, he was a member of VFW Post 1497. An associate member of the Polish National Home, Roger enjoyed being with his friends as well as hunting, fishing and taking trips to the casino. He also loved spending time with his family, especially during the holidays and loved to eat. He was a member of Saint James Church.
    His funeral will be held Wed. October 18, 2017 with a Mass at 11 AM in St. James Church, 89 Main St. S. Grafton. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours at Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville are Wed. Oct. 18 from 8:30 to 10:30 am.
