Whitinsville- Josephine W. (Siedlecki) May, 92, passed away on Sun. Aug. 6, 2017, at Beaumont Nursing & Rehab. Ctr. after a period of declining health. She was predeceased by her husband George W. May on Feb. 13, 2015.

She is survived by 3 children; Janet LeBlanc and her husband Michael of Blackstone, Theresa Manzo of Woonsocket, and Paul May of West Roxbury, 4 grandchildren; Melissa Richet, Deanna Manzo, Lynsey Manzo, and Sean Crimmins, 1 great grandchild; Jesiah Richet, 1 great great grandchild Stella, and many nieces and nephews, including her favorite niece Jean. She was also predeceased by her son George Jr. and 3 siblings.

Born in Boston on April 10, 1925, she was the daughter of Walter and Frances (Slowecka) Siedlecki. Primarily a homemaker, Josephine was always cooking or doing something around the home, taking great care of her family. She enjoyed listening to music and had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her family. The family extends a sincere thank you to all the staff at Beaumont for their outstanding care and compassion.

Josephine’s burial will take place on Wed. Aug. 9 at 1pm. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Granite St., Uxbridge. Procession to the cemetery will form at 12:30 at Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge. There are no calling hours.
