Uxbridge- Ronald R. Bergeron, 75, a longtime Uxbridge resident, died peacefully on Sun. April 9, 2017 after an illness.
     He is survived by a daughter Debra Noiseux of N. Attleboro; 2 sons Ronald R. Bergeron Jr. of Slatersville, and Nathan Bergeron and his wife Amie of Northbridge; 7 brothers William Bergeron of Woonsocket, Leo Bergeron and his wife Beverlie of AZ, Albert Bergeron of Millville, Ernest Bergeron of Douglas, Richard Bergeron of Fitchburg, David Bergeron and his wife Kathy of Northbridge, Joseph Bath and his wife Sheila of AL; 3 sisters Beatrice King and her husband Larry of Douglas, Therese Dion of Grafton, and Dorothy Thompson and her husband Stirling of Linwood; a brother-in-law Richard Chippo and sister-in-law Elaine Bergeron; his former wives Leona and Carolyn Ann; many nephews, nieces, and good friends. He was brother of the late Doris Chippo and Raymond Bergeron. Born in Uxbridge, MA on Dec. 3, 1941, he was son of William and Florence (Courteau) Bergeron and lived in Uxbridge, Linwood, and Whitinsville. He also lived in Woonsocket 19 years.
     Mr. Bergeron worked in maintenance for Attleboro Gateway, and Beaumont of Northbridge Nursing Homes. He also was employed for Gilford of Maine and Manchaug Corp. He owned and operated Ron’s Autobody and Ron’s Carpentry while in Woonsocket. He was a skilled woodcarver who enjoyed classic cars, camping, and dining out. Ron was family oriented and often his friends became family. He will be deeply missed.
     His funeral service will be held Thurs. April 13 at 11 a.m. in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wed. April 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
