Southbridge- Sarah F. “Sally” Lamson, 95, formerly of Green Rd, Sutton, died Fri. Nov. 30 at Southbridge Rehab. & Healthcare Ctr. where she had been a resident for several years. Born in W. Medford, MA on Aug. 11, 1917 she was the daughter of George F. and Margaret (Telford) Lamson and lived in Sutton prior to moving to Southbridge. Sally’s passion in life was art and was a self-employed professional artist her entire adult life. She enjoyed painting with a wide range of mediums from pastels, oils, as well as water colors and was well known for her portraits. Sally also hooked rugs, made hand puppets, sculptures, wall hangings, and made dolls for her great nieces. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at the Southbridge Rehab. & Healthcare center for their kindness and support shown to Sally during her last days.
