Douglas-Philip R. Quinn, 28, of 62 North St. passed away suddenly on Wed. Oct. 10 after being stricken ill. He is survived by his parents Ralph and Deborah (Neslusan) Quinn with whom he lived, a brother Erik Quinn of Westfield, MA and a sister Ashley Quinn of Douglas; his maternal grandmother Janet Ouillette; uncles Robert Quinn and his wife Mary of Worcester, Thomas Quinn of Clark County, OH, Bruce Quinn and his wife Serafina of Holden, Francis Neslusan, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Douglas; aunts Suzanne Quinn of Groveland, MA and Donna Bloniasz and her husband Richard of Brookline, NH, as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Robert and Lena Quinn, and his maternal grandfather Francis Neslusan, Sr. Philip was born in Houston, TX, graduated from Douglas High School, and lived in Douglas all of his life. He loved fishing, the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and all things related to cars. And the times he spent with his long-time friends Murph and Kane will always be cherished.
The funeral service will be held on Mon. Oct. 15 at 10 AM in Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St., Douglas. Burial will follow in St. Denis cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sun. Oct. 14 from 2 to 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Philip’s memory may be made to The Diabetes Center of Excellence at UMass Medical School, 55 Lake Avenue North, Worcester, MA 01655. Dear Debbie, Ralph, Erik and Ashley
Please accept my very heartfelt condolences on Philips sudden passing, my heart is very heavy for you and your family - Debbie, I will always remember the memories of swapping stories of our childrens escapades, while working side by side at the ins agency, some happy, some sad, many that made us laugh – as time goes on I hope that you will take comfort in knowing that Philip will go on in the memories of so many that were fortunate to know him

Quinn Family,
Please accept my condolences regarding Philip. I was very sad to learn of his passing. I''ll always remember growing up with Phil; he was a good soul and a good friend who never failed to make people laugh. I often wore a smile in his presence, as he had great intellect and wit. He will be missed.
