Linwood- Nelson H. Bosma, 80, of 192 Providence Rd. died Sat. Aug. 25 at home surrounded by his loving family.
     He is survived by his wife of 62 years Theresa A. (Trottier) Bosma; 3 children Mary Kay Boisvert and her companion James Cadrin of S. Grafton, Frank N. Bosma and his wife Anne of Douglas, and Catherine A. Mullin and her husband John of S. Grafton; 3 grandchilddren Chad R. Cheras, Glenn R. Bosma, and Hannah M. Bosma; 2 great-grandchildren Connor J. Cheras and Emelia C. Cheras; a brother Robert Bosma of Buffalo NY; and several nephews and nieces. Born in Uxbridge on Jan. 31, 1932 he was the son of George and Gladys (McCaffre) Bosma and lived in Linwood 49 years.
     Mr. Bosma worked as a Licensed Chief Engineer and Licensed Master Steamfitter for  Corregated Paper Co. in Westborough for 25 years, retiring in 1987.  A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served overseas and at Biggs Air Force Base in Texas in the Air Police Squadron. He was a member of American Legion Post 343 in Northbridge and VFW Post 3439 in N. Brookfield. Nelson enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and an occasional trip to the casino. He loved to laugh and loved family gatherings, Christmas, and cookouts. He was a member of St. Mary's Church.
     His funeral will be held Thurs. Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge in St. Mary’s Church, 71 Mendon St.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Wed.
