Pamela Brooks Obituary

Northbridge- Pamela L. (Kaminski) Brooks, 77, of Spring Hill Ave. passed away suddenly on Sunday April 21, 2024 after being stricken ill at home. Her husband of 22 years James K. Brooks died January 4, 2024.

     She is survived by her three children Melissa Lesley and her husband Robert Briggs of Northbridge, Nicholas Farrand of Northbridge, and Jennifer Sanderson and her husband Sean of Worcester; three step children James Brooks II, and Robert Brooks and his wife Linda all  of Savannah, GA, and John Brooks and his wife Jiagin of Northbridge, seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister Karen Moffett of DeLand, FL; several nieces and nephews; as well as her Silky Terrier Daisy. Her son Richard Lesley died in 2014 and she was predeceased by her brothers Teddy Kaminski and Tom Kaminski. Born in Darien, CT on October 31, 1946 Mrs. Brooks was daughter of the late Theodore and June (Maruca) Kaminski and lived the past 50 years in Northbridge.

     Pamela was employed as a Manager at Freihofers Bread Outlet in Milford. It was a job she loved. Previously she worked as a housekeeper and as a Lab Technician making circuit boards for the American Cyanamid Company. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School and later earned a college Degree in Chemistry.

     Pam had a good sense of humor. She loved shopping (especially for purses), trips, cruises, and visiting the casino with her husband Jim. Other favorite activities included gardening, birdwatching, nature, taking photos and family game nights. Her grandkids were especially important to her. She also attended the Trinity Episcopal Church in Whitinsville where she sang in their choir and she also volunteered at the Northbridge Senior Center. 

     Her Graveside Funeral Service will be held at a time to be announced at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Uxbridge Progressive Club. Memorial donations in Pamela’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School, PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
